Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms carefully. By placing an order with FastFind Spares you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Definitions

  • 1.1 “Company” refers to FastFind Spares.
  • 1.2 “Customer” refers to any individual or entity purchasing goods or services from the Company.
  • 1.3 “Goods” refers to all vehicle parts supplied, including new, used, TS, CS, OEM, and aftermarket parts.
  • 1.4 “Agreement” refers to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

  • 2.1 By placing an order with the Company, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • 2.2 No variation of these Terms shall be valid unless confirmed in writing by the Company.

3. Nature of Business

  • 3.1 The Company operates as a vehicle parts sourcing service.
  • 3.2 Goods are sourced on demand from third-party suppliers and are not always held in physical stock.
  • 3.3 All Goods are subject to availability and supplier confirmation at the time of order.

4. Pricing & Quotations

  • 4.1 All prices are provided on quotation and may vary based on supplier pricing, availability, and condition.
  • 4.2 Quotations are valid for a limited period only and may be amended or withdrawn without notice.
  • 4.3 Payment or deposit confirms acceptance of the quotation.

5. Payment Terms

  • 5.1 A 50% deposit is required on all online orders before sourcing, reservation, or processing begins.
  • 5.2 The remaining balance is payable prior to delivery or collection, once the Goods have been sourced and confirmed available. No Goods will be released until full payment has been received and cleared.
  • 5.3 Orders will not be processed, secured, or confirmed without the required deposit.
  • 5.4 Once sourcing or procurement has commenced, deposits may be retained to cover reasonable costs already incurred by the Company (including supplier fees, courier and administration). Any balance will be refunded in line with section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.

6. Orders

  • 6.1 Orders are only confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received.
  • 6.2 The Customer is responsible for providing accurate vehicle and part details.
  • 6.3 The Company shall not be liable for incorrect parts supplied due to inaccurate information provided by the Customer.

7. Returns & Refunds

  • 7.1 A 7-day change-of-mind return window applies from the date of delivery, provided Goods are unused, uninstalled, unmodified and in original packaging.
  • 7.2 All returned Goods are subject to inspection and approval before any refund or replacement is issued.
  • 7.3 Where Goods are defective, fail to meet the implied warranty of quality, or are not reasonably suitable for their intended purpose, the Customer's rights under section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (six-month implied warranty) apply in full and are not limited by these Terms.
  • 7.4 Refunds are processed via the original payment method within a reasonable period after approval.

8. Electronic Components

  • 8.1 Electronic items are non-returnable for change of mind once supplied, due to their sensitivity to handling, fitment and electrical conditions.
  • 8.2 This exclusion does not apply where the Goods are defective, in which case the Customer's statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act apply.

9. Exchanges

  • 9.1 Exchanges are only permitted where the Company has supplied an incorrect or defective item.
  • 9.2 All exchange requests are subject to inspection and written approval prior to processing.

10. Warranty

  • 10.1 Certain select mechanical parts only may qualify for a limited 1-month warranty inspection period, covering manufacturing or supplier-related defects under normal use conditions.
  • 10.2 For second-hand (used) parts, a 10-day warranty inspection period applies from the date of purchase. This covers only initial defects under normal installation and use.
  • 10.3 Warranty is not applicable to all items and will only be confirmed where applicable at the time of sale.
  • 10.4 Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, neglect, modification, or physical damage after delivery.
  • 10.5 All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by the Company.

11. Liability

  • 11.1 The Company shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or mechanical failure arising from the use or installation of Goods supplied.
  • 11.2 All installations must be carried out by a qualified and competent mechanic or technician.

12. Delivery

  • 12.1 Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to supplier or courier delays.
  • 12.2 The Company is not responsible for delays beyond its reasonable control.

13. Cooling-Off Right (ECTA s44)

  • 13.1 In terms of section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002, a Customer who concludes an electronic transaction may cancel without reason and without penalty within 7 days of receipt of the Goods.
  • 13.2 The cooling-off right does not apply to Goods made to the Customer's specifications, Goods that by their nature cannot be returned, or any other category excluded by section 42(2) of the ECT Act.
  • 13.3 The Customer is responsible for the cost of returning the Goods. Refunds (less direct costs of returning the Goods) will be made within 30 days of cancellation.

14. Consumer Protection

  • 14.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights the Customer may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002, or any other applicable law.
  • 14.2 Where any clause is found to be inconsistent with the Customer's statutory rights, the statutory right prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.

15. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • 15.1 Complaints should first be directed to the Company via WhatsApp on +27 83 554 2380 or email to fastfindspares@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and resolve them within 14 business days.
  • 15.2 If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, the Customer may refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission (www.thencc.gov.za) or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (www.cgso.org.za).
  • 15.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
